The Logical Tailback Replacement?
With the tailback position in a state of flux, several sources inside the program believe the guy who should be getting the longest look at tailback is Allen Bradford of Colton High.
The only problem is Bradford wants to play safety and even with Hershel Dennis suffering a season-ending knee injury and Desmond Reed (nerve damage in knee) also facing an uncertain future, there are no plans to move Bradford to running back.
Bradford averaged 13.1 yards per carry last season and scored 32 touchdowns. And he weighs 230 pounds, which would give USC the big, fast back Pete Carroll always craves (Yes, we're aware of Ryan Powdrell). But right now, the only recruit moving to tailback is Sylmar's C.J. Gable. This issue could be revisited during training camp. Stay tuned.

what about Stafon Johnson? he is a big fast back, any rumor of him being the starter?
