Sanchez Statement

Mark Sanchez's attorney, Leonard Levine, just released the following statement:

``Mark comes from a close-knit and very supportive family. They are
proud of the ethics and integrity that Mark has always displayed on
and off the field. Anyone close to Mark knows that he is a young man
of exceptional character.
``Obviously, this is a very difficult time for the Sanchez family, but they have confidence that facts surrounding this matter will come to light and Mark's good name will be cleared.
``Mark and his family also would like to offer their sincere
appreciation to the hundreds of people who have extended their
support during this difficult time.''
