Sanchez Update

The district attorney's office did not file a new arraignment date for Mark Sanchez's sexual-assault case. Originally, this morning, it was believed to be May 30 or May 31 before it was left open-ended.
The fact no new date was set would be consistent with my earlier reports about the quality of the case against Sanchez.

I just want to know if NOW has been behind this case all along, and is the DA Office being pressured into going forward with a weak case anyway? I'll even furnish the first suspect's name to check on; Dr. Diana Blaine.

That's a pretty far out there conspiracy theory. Do you really believe what you wrote?

More than likely the DA's office is being thorough. They're not going to rush things to relieve the anxiety of some CFB fans.

The DA should follow this case till their office discovers what most everyone else knows... and that is that the case against Mark Sanchez doesn't hold any water... they should continue to follow the case so that USC won't recieve any more angry letters from NOW... I'm sure they have better things to be doing... like going to schools and discussing the issue of rape to young men so they can avoid sucj trouble... no... wait... that would be a little more work than they are used to... so maybe they can mail some pamphlets to athletic departments.

Conspiracy theory?

Not really, but just a recognition how the real world works. Just take look at the Duke case where it would "appear" that 3 young men are charged with a crime just so a DA could get re-elected using racial hatred.

It is very suspicious to me that NOW injected themselves into this case prior to Mark havng his day in court. Considering NOW's political clout, I just don't beleieve that this is being fair to this young man who might well be innocent and according to the two witnesses that Scott discovered, he is innocent.

Reading Dr. Diana Blaine's Web site, I could see it very possible that she could be involved in some way. For instance, the quote from the NOW letter, "Female faculty on your campus have taken a strong stand—and even sworn off football—and their concerns have been virtually ignored " almost sounds written from her. But I could be wrong.

In conclusion, I just want a fair, speedy, and "blind to political pressure" DA decision.

Yeah, Blaine's fingerprints are all over this.

so, will the NOW gang apologize if Mark is eventually found innocent ?? from what i have read and understand, it was the "victim's" mother who called police, not the girl herself.
Perhaps the "victim" herself did'nt feel she was assaulted but mom saw otherwise. NOW should step back and wait before they throw their accusations around SC. Because guess what NOW? Guys have rights and feelings too......ever thought of that?
