USC vs. USC

| | Comments (0) |

Coach Tim Floyd said USC will play its inaugural game at the Galen Center against South Carolina.
USC experienced difficulty finding an opponent for its first game at the new arena, but the Gamecocks needed a second game in Southern California after scheduling UC Irvine next season. The Trojans will also play a home-and-home series beginning next season with The Citadel, which means they will play South Carolina and The Citadel on the same road swing.
USC’s second home game will be against St. Mary’s.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
