Long-time USC baseball assistant coach Andy Nieto was hired as the head coach at Bishop Amat High School.

This is off subject but now that Oregon State is the baseball champion, it further hurts to have seen the demise of the SC baseball season, especially after defeating the Beavers in the opening series.
