Game Cancelled

USC and Colorado State agreed to cancel their 2008 football game that was to be played on Sept. 6 at Invesco Field in Denver. In its place, USC will look to add a home opponent, giving the Trojans a seventh home game that season.

Any word on why both schools agreed to cancel the game? Was this move initiated on the CSU or USC side? This is disappointing news since I am a Trojan alum that grew up in the Denver area and I know several other Colorado Trojans. USC has a good fan base in the Denver area. We had a blast at the 2002 CU-USC game in Boulder.

that's sure annoying.....gona miss that one!!!

The answer is simple; Over on USC's scout.com website the reason behind their decision was simply to add another HOME game.

Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
