One player USC is recruiting might seem especially familiar in Westwood: Defensive tackle Brian Price of Crenshaw High in Los Angeles. Price already committed to UCLA but the Trojans are still recruiting him.

Bengals' pick Rucker faces battery, vandalism charges
ESPN.com news services
The Los Angeles City attorney's office has filed charges against former USC defensive end Frostee Rucker for two counts of spousal battery and two counts of vandalism, ESPN's Justine Gubar reports.
Both charges are misdemeanors. Each count of spousal battery, which includes parties who have dated, is punishable by one year maximum in county jail or community service. There is a mandatory $400 fine. Vandalism is punishable by up to six months in jail. If convicted Rucker, who was drafted by the Bengals in the third round of April's NFL draft, could face up to three years in county jail.
The charges stem from one incident in early August 2005 that took place at Rucker's Los Angeles apartment.
An arraignment date has been set for July 13.
There is no warrant for Rucker's arrest. He will receive a voluntary appearance letter regarding his arraignment. If he misses his arraignment, then a warrant will be issued.
The complaining witness has requested confidentiality.

Galippo
Coleman

I wonder if Price has self-confidence issues. Anyone who picks UCLA over SC must be intimidated by the quality of athletes at Troy. Anyone can start for UCLA, but at SC they've got to earn it. Price is taking the easy way.

you guys sound a little riled up. worried?
carter easily better than tayler and probably better tahn Broderik Green. Tayler is over-rated and plays week rich white boys. no competition. over-rated just like Whitney. btw, Whitney is going to N.Arizona and be a lumberjack. i take Forcier over Corp anyday and obviously the Trojan staff is jealous of Price as they want him so badly. i like that Galippo obviously but Jones won't qualify. he's a duck or wolverine.
KING Dorrell is building a powder blue powerhouse in Westwood! almost every guy they've got committed is a 4-star or better.
dominating.
keep up the great posts mr. Wolf. good info on this site.

At this point, any good football player who picks UCLA must be selfish. That's the only logical conclusion an unbiased observer can make.
They realize that there's no talent on the team and therefor they'll be the only star. What self-centered attention whores. Only thinking about themselves and their own personal glory. They pick a school that loses to its rival every year just so that they can stand out from the Chase Molines of the team. Unbelievable.
If Karl Dorrell had any integrity, he would never accept a verbal from any recruit ranked over three stars. Anyone higher than three stars who picks UCLA doesn't care about the team and doesn't care about winning. They just want to make themselves look better by surrounding themselves with shetty players.

First of all, I think the only thing anyone here is worried about is that you live amongst us. 'Powder blue' and 'powerhouse' go together like 'jumbo' and 'shrimp.'
Secondly, if Dorrell is dominating Carroll, it would be the first time in three years. What's the combined score since Dorrell's been there, 142-75?
Third, the only thing Dorrell is King of is punting on 4th-and-5 with the wind at his kicker's back after his offense has moved the ball past midfield on the first possession of the game as a 22-point underdog to his crosstown rival. The next good call that guy makes will be his first.

Jaxon, you're funny. I can just picture the "King", sitting on his throne, in his "powder blue outhouse".
