When USC announced its move to 710-AM, it was assumed about four games would be switched to 790-AM because of conflicts with Angel games.
But now it sounds like every game will be on 710 because the station believes USC should get priority. Why? Because Angels owner Arte Moreno bought Spanish station 830-AM a few months ago and is expected to move the Angels there next season.

Not exactly correct there Wolfie....The Angels are staying through their contract year. ESPN 710 is not going to bump their new USC property. If anything the Angels will get bumped. They want Mike Garrett happy!
And let's all celebrate....Your USC Trojans CAN NOW BE HEARD all OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!!
How do you do?
When this radio coverage of USC football games changed to 710 back in April (and 1540 contracted for Notre Dame football in the Trojan's place), Pete Arbogast--the radio "voice" of USC football was terminated. As he "announced" on 1540 radio calling in on Petros Papadakis's birthday, Arbogast has not worked in broadcasting since that firing.
Will Pete--and his color commentator Paul McDonald--be BACK as USC Trojan announcers on 710
the Fall, even though Pete apparently is not working at that station as an on-air announcer?
My understanding is that he will be, but until then he has nothing else going on?
Will Petros SOON be interviewing Yard of Lard Charlie Weis of Notre Dame over at 1540 since they will now be the Irish "flagship" radio station in southern California?
Maybe Petros and Chuckie baby can compare their respective girths--does anyone have a clue as to what waist size for Weis? It has to be off the charts--and this AFTER "successful" gastric bypass surgery? What was his waist size BEFORE?
And, finally, speaking of bypass surgery, USC and Notre Dame, and reports, Scottie, as to well-being of Anthony Davis months after HIS surgery?
Inquiring minds and junk food addicts want to know.
So when is Petros moving to 710? It just doesn't seem right that he is on the Notre Dame flagship station.
Eddie,
You forget Pat Haden? Color commentator on NBC for the Notre Dame home game telecasts?
But I do think that Petros needs to start a dialogue with Yard of Lard Weis: same builds, same renegade styles. And Notre Dame football on 1540--well?
Of course Petros also needs to encamp over at Heritage Hall during the football season and continue talking with Pete Carroll. Now the question is: WILL 1540 ALLOW THIS?
Trojan Pal...having Petros over at Heritage Hall as a representative of 1540 The Ticket isn't going to happen. USC loves Petros, but the Ticket management decimated any relationship when they lost the Trojans. And the way they parted ways with USC was not a pleasant "thanks and good luck" type of thing. 1540 The Ticket is very petty. For example - when ESPN Radio annouced they are the new flagship station of the Trojans, the broadcast was from Heritage Hall with the Coaching Staff and Pete Carroll. 5 minutes before the broadcast, The Ticket called USC and told them ESPN cannot use the broadcast line (which was the Ticket's at one time). The broadcast still came off sounding great, ESPN just had to scramble at the last minute. There's a ton more that The Ticket did, including blaming ESPN Radio for Pete Arbogast getting fired from the Ticket. What losers that station is.
