USC vs. Charleston Southern?
Organizers of the Vegas Invitational basketball tournament informed USC that its potential opponent in the first round will be Charleston Southern.
USC plays two home games Dec. 17-19 in the tournament then goes to Vegas for games on Dec. 22-23. Florida State, New Mexico, Kansas State and Wichita State are among the possible later opponents.
The Galen Center opener with South Carolina is scheduled for Nov. 16. South Carolina still hasn’t signed a contract but that is considered a formality.

Why do you give the game time in Central time when Arkansas is Eastern Time and USC is Pacific Time? Are all the games on the rest of the schedule listed in Central time also?
Arkansas being in the central time zone is the reason.
Actually, all other times are Pacific Daylight Time only through Oct. 28. All times after that are Pacific Standard Time, as Daylight Saving Time ends on Oct. 29.
