Circle The Week

With freshman receiver Vidal Hazelton on campus and practicing with his teammates during summer workouts, it serves as a reminder of how important the second week of training camp will become. At the end of that week, it should become clear if Hazelton is certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Does anyone know what the NCAA Nazis have to decide on? Is it his grades or what? Did he graduate HS? Is he taking classes? If he is enrolled in school, what is there to certify?

Booty looks left, there's Jarrett. On the right, Turner, with Smith in the slot. Can you imagine adding Hazelton, Ausberry & co. to that mix? I can't wait to watch the Arkansas secondary's attempts to stop them.

Scott, I look forward to your constant needling of Vidal throughout training camp about whether he will transfer. I really enjoyed youre efforts there with Fred Davis and Whitney Lewis during their freshman years.

this is huge. we need Vidal at corner THIS SEASON!

there just isn't any other talent there and safety is worse. Pinkerds return to safety says volumes.

Nice to know but when will the shoe drop on Reggiegate. Can't believe we're not going to get some kind of hammer over that one.

rick,

i was told by someone at hargrave that the only possible concern would be the jump in his SAT score. He wasn't very high on his first attempt then his score "supposedly" increased alot. The ncaa acts as if an athlete improves his score than there must of been cheating involved.

Scott,

When Vidal Hazelton, Stafon Johnson or any other of the talented freshmen become superstars, how soon will you start hating them and taking shots at them? Will you get together with Petros and decide which one? Or will you each have your own?

Scott let the kid compete in camp

Jaxon, I don't know what you're talking about. Vidal plays wide receiver and our safeties are going to be a strength this year.

Don't bother replying to Jaxon aka Art V. He is a Bruin and a jokester.
