`He Nearly Cracked'
Highly regarded defensive end defensive end Everson Griffen nearly committed during last week's football camp at USC, according to a source. ``USC put on a hard sell and he nearly cracked,'' a source said.
There was speculation Griffen might have become a silent commitment but he says he is still considering USC, UCLA and Arizona.
