Lewis Finds A School
Wide receiver Whitney Lewis is expected to enroll at Northern Iowa, where he will have two years of eligibility.http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2006/07/12/sports/s112416D73.DTL
UPDATE: A source said Lewis was considering transferring to Florida State, his original choice, even though it meant he would have only one year of eligibility.

Best of luck to Whitney. Congrats for trading California girls for Midwest farmer's daughters.
Remember a Des Moines 10 is an LA 7.
Couple of years of lighting up D-2 and we'll see him in the NFL. Whitney is from the LA area so he'll still have LA to look forward to when he's not playing ball and hitting the books. In the very off chance he sees this, Fight On Whitney, we all know you'll do well and your Moms is really a class act. People who have more obstacles and varied experiences often have more character and more understanding.
Big gamble. The odds are against him already, what is he going to do with a Northern Iowa degree?
Dear Whitney,
Welcome to oblivion.
LOL... You go csufmatt, that was better than Letterman... we do sincerely wish Lewis well. Living in Iowa is so... corny. aarh aarh
How Do You Do!!
I wonder if this classic under-achiever will rate getting a #4 jersey at Northern Iowa like the "cry baby" got off the back of former QB Brandon Hance?
Out of shape, poor in the classroom. He's a poster child for a lot of spoiled high school ballers who FADE FAST.
Hopefully the corn-fed locals are down with a dude having a name like Whitney...
Of course Iowans are famous for their passion for wrestling with guys putting "special holds" on other guys.
