There's increasing buzz O.J. Mayo will officially commit to USC this week, for what it's worth.

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Not worth much if the buzz last time was any indication as to whether or not an actual committment might be made. Still holding out hope though. Still holding out hope...
I can't wait to see Kevin Love and O.J. Mayo go at it during the 2007/2008 season.
Here's hoping the football rivalry games eventually become more even.
After OJ commits, I wouldn't be surprised at rumors of him committing to a shoe company.
I've been pretty happy with the football rivalry the last 7 yrs, no need for a change.
Rumors are rumors. The more we speculate, the less likely he really is to commit.
Come on...
No one can argue against a more evenly matched rivalry game, is a better game. Even I would hate to see a one-sided UCLA over USC basketall/football game.
You can't deny the closest rivarly games were the best.
Recall...
1990 - USC 45, UCLA 42
Marinovich to Morton with 16 seconds.
1992 - UCLA 38, USC 37
JJ Stokes going 90 yards with SC up 31-17 in the 4th. SC ended up scoring but missed the 2-point conversion.
Comfort Zone: 66-19 and "Eight in a Row" sounds better to me.
Hey I like to see UCLA go 9-3 or even 11-1 as long as the one is a whipping by SC. I'll settle for close victories on the b-ball court. FO!
Love will be a bust for the Bruins.
Mayo, if he commits, with his buddy, will elevate the SC program to new heights. Just too bad that the Bruins aren't "down" right now in basketball and that they actually have a good coach who can recruit. Otherwise, SC would be on top of the conference in 2 or 3 years.
