Here Comes Cal
Word is that Valencia High cornerback Shane Vereen is strongly considering Cal, at the expense of Stanford. That leaves the Golden Bears, UCLA and USC. The Trojans got a late start on Vereen and I hear UCLA is confident it will land him.
No harm, no foul. I'm not overly impressed with Shane's abilities as a DB or RB.
I have seen tape of Vereen, he is a legit cover corner and is one of the 3 fastest kids in the state in the 100 meters.

I heard he scrambles too much, won't stay in the pocket. Will be interesting to see how the new QB's Samson and Green turn out. Can't wait to watch CJ Gable, Stefon and Moody fight it out at RB. Somebody is going to become a freshman sensation, but who?
