I asked a legal expert what kind of penalty Frostee Rucker faced if he's fould guilty of two misdemeanor counts of spousal battery and two counts of vandalism.
``He'll get 180 days and serve 20,'' the source said.
That is somebody's sister Frostee abused, somebody's daughter, somebody's Granddaughter. I luv 'SC but once a player thinks he's entitled to get whatever he wants then that's f*'d up. If that was my sister he slapped around then he'd have to look over his shoulder for an incoming "rock". Street Justice.

I agree. I've been a Trojan for 40 years, violence against women has no place in our program. I don't want to become Miami West. There are too many "allegations" of Trojans attacking women. Back in the day we were in the mix for #1 without these negatives. I'd rather see a top rated player who has problems take his distractions and embarrassment of the university to another program.
Hey Little Stevie, don't let my humor fool you, I save my rage for legit things like this and you go into a Brokeback Mtn moment, which says alot about where your mind is, Twinkie. And notice where I used quotations for "rock", which really means I would use something else that gets the job done no matter what size the abuser is. I would fight to stop a girl from getting smacked around, but punks like little stevie would stand there and applaud if it was his mother.

I find it interesting how the older generation SC alum is less tolerant of types of acts than the younger instant gratification type alums.
I find it appalling that it is considered holier-than-thou to expect players to some common sense of human decency.
As was said earlier in this thread that is someone's daughter etc. but if it's not yours than its ok?
Anything for the sake of winning? That's just sad.

"Anything for the sake of winning..." What ARE you blathering about? He doesn't play for USC now, he is in the NFL you ninny!
I doubt that anyone, young or old, condones violence against women. And I, as a relatively younger alum, wrote that I suspect that he is guilty and has been covering it up through all sorts of cynical ploys. Obviously I have only second hand, one sided, sensationalized accounts from less than credible sources. That may be why some people don't believe he was guilty. At any rate, it is not USC's problem since the alleged victim is reporting an incident that happened as he exited school, and waited a year, until Frostee was in the NFL and she was no longer in school herself.
Again, I personally suspect that Frostee covered his tracks by getting a restraining order on his victim (while at SC) and may have promised some sort of $ that he is now not coming off, but this is not like Nebraska, where USC had evidence, a complaint or even first hand knowledge of anything. And I understand the other view after watching school administrators and law enforcement beat the shit out the reputation and rights of the (falsely) accused Duke Lacrosse athletes and Sanchez only to find out later they were being falsely accused by some tacky gold diggers.
now i recognize you and your buddies davie! your the guys who used to ride around on horse dressed in sheets and hoods protecting womanhood from the bad blackman.... only now you ride around in pickup trucks (no shotgun -i suspect you're a gun control kinda guy) looking for damsels to save!! think about this davie (i know it's a strech for you)! why don't you protect the psyco-bitches that have been paraded around this summer as "victims" by making sure they get their medicine on time..!! got to go now, they're playing "onward christian soldiers" and i need the exercise...
how about a little marching davie??? it's good for your soul......!!!
Thank you Paragon, we cannot forget that excellence extends beyond the field! Champions have a different walk. And it is NOT Carroll's fault, he's not a babysitter. Off the field, guys need to chill & treat the ladies with class. Play like a champ and the ladies will come to you anyway. On the field, after a game, always show respect to the other team, win or lose. During the game, we should beat the absolute s**t out of them.

People need to have a little bit of perspective. There always are 2 sides to a story and ESPN and the accuser in this case have motive to present it as negatively as possible to create media buzz. However having watched the ESPN story, there certainly appears to be a lot of evidence against Frostee. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle and if true, Frostee is a bad dude for his treatment of women. The timing of this expose is interesting and ESPN's slant on USC is entirely wrong. Having finally seen the report today and being able to discuss FACT, I can now comment.
Certainly, if known by USC, it would have been known by the media and the school and Pete Carroll would have dealt with it severely (ie Winston Justice, Hershel Dennis, Eric Wright, etc).
The real problem here is the NFL and ESPN which conveniently overlooks its culpability likely because ESPN has a billion plus television contract with the league for MNF. The NFL routinely overlooks players with legal problems in the chase of glory and money. As long as they are not in jail, they get to play. Sean Taylor (assualt) and Jamal Lewis (cocaine selling) immediately come to mind. Frostee's current status with the NFL and Cincinati is the real problem at this point. Frostee's issues are known, his current relationship is with the NFL and Cincinati, and nothing is happening to him discipline wise.
The NFL really only have a firm stance on drug use in appearance. Drug use generally negatively affects players performance and gives them a right to cancel contracts at the teams option. Supplements (performance enhancements) are lightly regulated (Bill Romanowski). Dollars to donuts his supplements were the were in the same family as speed but not 'illegal' because they weren't defined per league policy. Brett Farve was addicted to pain killers (people go to jail for abuse and missuse of these drugs) and he served no league sanctions. Ricky Williams is the only marquee player to face a harsh penalty but then again the NFL believes it needs to teach kids that 'pot is bad'. Remember, all of the other poor role models mentioned above are OK.
Once again Scott, you are making up issues to negatively reflect on USC when they should be placed elsewhere, in this case the NFL. A balanced perspective would rise to the level of quality and insightful journalism. I do read this post and only offer insite when your legions of lemmings (most, but not all, of whom I suspect are bruins in disguise) get misguided.
If you defend a woman from getting smacked in the face, little stevie calls you a racist! I have African-Americans in my family, Latin blood and white heritage as well, and we still don't beat up girls, you wimp.
So now we know why little stevie hates women so much. He loves men. And he's playing wide receiver for the West Hollywood Bruins this year, so be on the lookout.
