And Then There Were Three

| | Comments (19) |

With practice starting tomorrow, only three freshmen are still waiting to be certified by the NCAA: Wide receivers Vidal Hazelton, Jamere Holland and David Ausberry. All three are expected to be cleared. And now that you know, so does the L.A. Times.

That may be so, but at least Gary Klein still has his journalistic integrity intact.

nice. so our only casualty was kenny ashley, who was our 4th rated tailback in this class.

LOL @ lazy Gary Klein. Hey Garry - get your own scoops. If you can't do this attribute Wolf/ the Daily News next time.

So does this mean that Kenny Ashley is in?

Thanks for the great info Scott. You take a lot of heat, but you're just the messenger...

Nice shot at the weak ass Times - today they barely could squeeze 8 pages of sports into their weak paper. Bill Dwyre can carry the demise of the LAT to his grave...

Matt said:

to be fair to Bill Dwyre, he is no longer the editor, Randy Harvey is, and it wasn't his fault the Times cut staff in the sports department

Thanks for a great laugh. That last line had me rolling. Nice jibe; succinct, to the point, and fricking hilarious. Way to take it to the LA Crimes.

Gillyking said:

The sports section shrinkage in the Left Angeles Times seems to be proportional to their subscriber shrinkage and their staff shrinkage. Keep going LAT..someday you will just be a memory, a bad memory of a once fine newspaper who decided to become a political party. Managed news sucks, I wouldn't light my bar b que or line my catbox with the LA Times. "Shrink On"!

Eddie said:

So how much does it cost to subscribe to Daily News? LA Times aka Daily Bruin sports section eats . . .

DAVID said:

gillyking, I can't believe we agree on anything besides SC football. How u doin dude. You are absolutely right, the L.A. Slimes being more of a liberal political wing than a nuetral paper. I cancelled it yrs. ago, went with the Daily News... may the Times lose even more subs, go bankrupt & emerge as a light-blue toilet liner co.

DAVID, Dude!!....I'm just glad that that Goliath guy didn't jump into this blog and actually kick your ass last week!haha.. Fight On Brudda and as far as Pravda errr the Left Angeles Manifesto is concerned...."Shrink On"!! BTW..that usc-89 guy probably scratches out his meager living delivering the LA Times. Cant you just see him in a baby (bruin)blue 86 Toyota Corolla, 4 bald and different sized tires, no hubcaps, rag hangin outta the gas tank, no muffler, his 9yr old sister having just gotten off her street job, sitting on the hood tossing those papers onto the curb, it's 4:30AM and all he really cares about while he's cruisin the hoods, is which one of coach Carlysle's charges is gonna get injured as soon as the sun pops up.

DAVID said:

LOL - who knew Gilly could throw a mean rant! Here's a cold beer to you and all the brothers-players-fans of SC. Watch The Reign unfold...
