Baby Steps
Freshman linebacker Josh Tatum's just started doing some physical work, but remains bothered by a knee injury suffered during his senior year.
"He's still a ways away," USC coach Pete Carroll said.

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

I think this kid could benefit from a redshirt year.
Give that man a red shirt and a year to really heal. We're loaded with talent at LB.
Poor Wolfie,
All his negativity can't take away from what Bush is doing in New Orleans.

What has he done at New Orleans?? How many touch downs has he scored against other rookie/3rd stringers that participate in pre season? He had one run where he gained 40 yards and thats it. mediocre=Reggie Bush in NFL. If he keeps trying those against the grain runs he will end up with negative yards when all is said and done.
What has Reggie done at New Orleans? Did you even bother to read the article? He's been super for New Orleans even before he played in a game, with his community activism and donations. The article didn't even mention that he's donating 25% of his jersey sale profits to Katrina relief - I guess it got overshadowed by the money to the special needs school, or by re-sodding the community football field, or by playing a role in the Hummers for public services, or just the hope, recognition and enthusiam he's brought to the region.
Football-wise, based on what his teammates, coaches (and other more qualified people than I) think, Reggie should do just fine.
Finally, what does this have to do with Josh Tatum? -- nothing. Sorry about that, but I just had to post something in response...
migualito... you got to be one of the most ignorant people i have come across. dont show your football ignorance by spouting out bs. When did you see reggie bush play against 3rd teamers? do you think for a second that coach payton would have should the other nfl teams what they plan to do with reggie? if you think that's all the saints is going to do with him than you should stick to high school games... idiot
kahlil.....WHAT????
I agree that Joshua Tatum could benifit from a Red shirt year. Question: Since he is from Oakland and has a famous last name, is he any relationship to Oakland Raider LB /SS Jack Tatum?
Jay, as a Raider/USC honk, I was wondering the same thing. Anyone know if "The Assassin" is Josh Tatum's pops? If so, what a tremendous gene pool.
