Ominous Sign
Fullback Brandon Hancock twisted his knee in practice and will undergo an MRI tomorrow morning. Hancock said he was concerned he tore his ACL, which would be a season-ending injury.
In a best-case scenario, he sprained his MCL and would be out 2-3 weeks.
"I felt a little pop, but that's not uncommon," Hancock said. "I won't have any answers until I take the MRI. I'm really anxious."

NO!!!!!
Hancock has always been injury prone since he got to SC. I really admire his work ethic and dedication in the weight room, but he seems to be "fragile" when it comes to the field.
Seems more and more likely that he is a bodybuilder who plays football, rather than a football player who bodybuilds on the side. With this recent setback (hopefully not too serious for "The Hulk"), people keep snickering that THE HULK is on juice. Even the UTLA Times said that Hancock's massive physique and "recurring injuries has made him a target amid steroid rumors".
Hmmm, if The Hulk is gone for the year, does Bradford move to FB? How good is Adewale? Adewale appears to be only a 2-star recruit on Scout.com? Is Powdrell ready to step up his blocking? How is Havili looking? Could Thomas "The Hitman" Williams (#41) move to FB because our LB depth is so great??? Could one of the beasts from the best LB corps in America move to the blocking fullback position??? Possibly, Gerald Washington to fullback rather than DE???
I am very worried guys!!!

Hey J.R., you made some good points dude. Don't forget that POWdrell and Havili should be 100% by the opener (we hope). The UTLA Times always suck. Just how big is The Hulk Hancock right now anyway, 230 or more?

Hancock currently weighs about 238. He said that he is gaining weight in training camp, which is rare for him. He said he went up from 235 to 238 during the fall camp. It is on his own website:

We better hope Havili is ready to play A LOT this year...supposedly he is like FOO (Malefou)!
