Powdrell No. 1

With Brandon Hancock out for the season, senior Ryan Powdrell becomes the starter, which means he will get a lot more snaps in practice than he did the first 10 days. Freshman Stanley Havili will also play, but so far he's been used in a role similar to Malaefou MacKenzie several years ago.

Feel terrible for Brandon...but that having been said, I am not worried at all about the FB position........Pwdrell appears to me a better all around Back and is apparently bigger and faster than Brandon....I have also seen Adewale run in HS and he is a beast , he was averaging over 200 yards a game AND playing DB as well!! He Gained over 300 yards against Roosevelts arch nemisis Garfield HS while playing DB and returning kicks as well.
He just needs the opportunity to show his stuff. I hear Havili is also a force to be reckoned with so we look OK for now

POWdrell & Havili, these boys came to play. Someone please tell me what these champions weigh right now after camp has started.

These 2 studs are bigger than most linebackers. I'm salivating. I want to hear our opponents helmets get crushed when these Mammoths hit the hole.

God I love football.

ryan will become - if he isn't there already - the new and bigger lendale....don't you just love it???

Man we sure will miss Brandon, he always and I mean always gave his heart on the field. God bless em'. I ditto all that was said Powdrell and Havili look really strong in there unique ways. We should do just fine
