Take Five
Lost amid the switch Allen Bradford made from safety to tailback yesterday was that Pete Carroll stopped practice because the offense was struggling so much. He gathered the team at midfield and treated it like a ``halftime.'' Carroll said he was pleased with the way the offense responded although John David Booty did throw an interception.

I think all of us need to give the offense some slack; it is simply unrealistic to think that this offense will be like last years, that is not a fair comparison. I think that by Nov we will be rolling. In 2002, Carson's senior year, it took about a half a season for the offense to get going. I look for something similar this year.
thanks cary.........!!!
I agree completly. Never in the history of sc football have we suffered this much offensive loss and the expectations were still this high. I hope we can get this thing going sooner then Nov. We need to beat the hell out of Arkansas, put hands on Nebraska and be ready to have a truly balanced offense for Arizona.
Hey we'll be fine......JD has to get his feet wet with a D that does NOT know the SC Offensive gameplan.........The backs are looking more awsome than we all expected and the D will dominate more so than last years patchwork squad for sure (and we still went 12-0). It will be and exciting year with new faces thats true, but lets not underestimate this kids. they are for real !!
Last years team was great but they are history.. lets enjoy what we have been given and look to better things ahead..there is talent abound at evry position...........i can hardly wait.
