When USC scrimmages this week for the first time, Pete Carroll will look closely at two legitimate questions entering the season:
Can his quarterbacks handle a live pass rush?
Can his new tailbacks demonstrate they won't fumble?
Desmond Reed won't fumble and neither will Mr. Coleman. What is going on with Coleman?? Haven't heard anything about Coleman. Whats his deal? Blogger USC89 still sucks according to sources.

Legitimate questions, but you make it sound as though Booty has never played competitive D1 football. He has already seen many "live" pass-rushes, often at the hands of a first-string defense out-for-blood (and redemption, after getting mauled all game), and often protected by SC's second or third-string offensive line. Booty will be fine. He's no young pup.

Yea, where is Coleman? I remember on the news 8 months ago when the Trojans were eating at Lawry's, Fukusaki asked Coleman "what is your wish for next year" or something similar.
Coleman said: "to be the starting running back."
Funny, I have not heard his name all year, and I heard he is not cleared to have contact yet??
Also, how is Desmond Reed? I re-watched some of last year's games, and his kick and punt returns were superior to Reggie's. It's weird, whenever Reggie fielded a kickoff or punt return, I just knew he would NOT break a long one. Yet, when #22 was fielding kicks, I expected something spectacular to happen.
From his old scouting reports, JDB is good at short-stepping blitzes out of the pocket & throwing bombs, like Peyton Manning. Being surrounded by All-American linemen & receivers should give him plenty of choices. Arkansas will get the first Booty-call.
Can't wait to see the new 3-4 defense debut against the Hogs. It will be a joy to watch our Tazmanian-Devil-Linebackers blitzing & tearing heads off. Women & children at the stadium should look the other way.
The SC corners & safeties will deliver full-speed concussions that will be heard all over Little Rock, Arkansas -- including the nearby Clinton Library/Massage parlor. Even Hillary will turn the tv off, not being able to watch.
One thing for certain: Arkansas will face a better Trojan defense this year than last.
Clinton library/ Massage parlor!!!!!! Good one DAVID!
I'm still really nervous over our running game.
Also the fact that the NCAA still hasn't said anything about Jarrett. I know the Mike WIlliams situation was way worse but it is starting to feel the same.
How long does it take to reinstate someone who is going to pay back the amount due??????
Washington better get his hamstring together, it does not sound good when our savior is already nursing two hamstring injuries this early. I really hope Desmond is medically cleared to balance our weak and inexperience running game.
Booty never look good last year in garbage time either. I have been watching the replays on Fox.
Even with that I still have faith in booty.

Just my 2 cents
