USC No. 1

Who says computer rankings are useless in August? Well, just about everyone. But USC is No. 1 in the first Sagarin rankings. http://www.kiva.net/~jsagarin/sports/cfsend.htm

The Trojans are also No. 2 in the pre-season Billingsley Report, because Billingsley's opening numbers are all based on last year's final poll position. http://www.cfrc.com/Ratings_2006/WK_1.htm
