`A Thug Move'
USC security chief Carey Drayton said he eventually crammed 9,200 students into the Coliseum for the Nebraska game, 1,200 more than allowed. Drayton said 8,000 were admitted with wristbands, 800 were given standing-room only seats and another 400 were allocated during the game.
The most honest quote regarding the student-ticket situation came from a high-ranking USC official: ``It was kind of a thug move what the athletic dept. did.''

Pathetic is a more accurate term.
thanks Carey! they're hiring security over at chuck e. cheese, tough crowd there, u can handle it. good luck to you.
Hi Scott,
I have noticed that you might be at a tipping point with the public and your readers. People who have loved the “inside story and knowing what’s really going on have been your bread and butter, and exalted you to the pole position over Klein. However, I have noticed a tipping point has occurred were you have been marginalized and have developed a negative halo with those that loved you during the Palmer and Lienart eras. I hope you do not become stigmatized and words ignored, but I have noticed you have made some serious tactical errors with your readers- which is all that matters in this business. As you know there is intense competition, and ten writers that would kill to marginalize you and take the pole position as the inside guy. After reading Saxon’s article today I realized how many want a piece of this game. I believe you have gotten off your game plan that got you to the dance, and I would hate Petros to be the IT guy of SC football. Be wary of the tipping point, be careful.

Hey CollegeUni Water Polo hall,
Petros HAS been the IT guy for SC since his days doing the Tuesday nite SC show with Pete Arbogast on 1540. If it wasn't for Petros and his radio show, most people probably wouldn't know who Wolfie is (especially the segments where Petros talks about Wolfie's fascination with traffic girls). Plus, Petros' show gives Wolfie credibility in the SC community because Petros allows Wolfie to air not just good SC news but all the negative ones that he normally talks about.
Fight On Petros. Great Sports Talk, Makes Love Like a Jackhammer, and Looks Great Naked.
Meet some nice USC fans at the game Sat. at tailgating on Adams and Jewish Center. Then walked across campus, very nice layout and Tommy Trojan and
band were cool. Then it started. You have some of the most crude, obnoxious and vulgar students that call themselves fans of any University I have ever been to. I have been to 25 stadiums all over the USA and by far your fans are thugs. I was with small children and women and I was embarassed at the
ridicule and crass behavior towards them and other Nebraska fans. I was shocked that a top university in the U.S. had such poor representatives of the human race. It didn't stop outside they came pouring in to the aisles and tried to take our seats by just the volume of them. They were high on something and didn't mind being rude as hell. What a sorry group of fans you have and I hope Nebraska never plays you again. What a waste of a fine University. Hope you do not come to Lincoln we do not need to show our hospitality to such a lot.
To WL Haddix and all our friends from Nebraska:
You are Great Americans... There are hundreds of thousands of students and alumni of USC that admire you, your tradition and your classy demeanor at games. Don't judge based on a few idiots out there from a huge city of over 8 million. Those morons drink one beer, stumble, burp and then talk like wwf wrestlers.
We beat you on the field, but off the field the majority of us have love & respect for you as fans & as Americans.
We know there are bigger things in life than football; getting the kids fed & educated at a great school, and defending this country in time of war so the family can go to stadiums safely. We know that Nebraska sends many of their sons to defend this incredible place called the USA.
There are vast improvements in store for security at the Coliseum, so please come back and visit Malibu, Newport Beach, Disneyland and... the Heisman Shrines at Heritage Hall.
Thank You.
