Injuries

Wide receiver Chris McFoy is in street clothes with a left shoulder injury along with linebacker Luthur Brown, who is on crutches.
UPDATE: McFoy bruised his left shoulder and Brown strained his hamstring. No announcements yet on how long they will be out. Emmanuel Moody sprained his ankle but said he was OK.

thank god for stevie smith outta Woodland Hills Taft HS. Finally lame kiffin heard about the post route and when JDB finally settled down in the third quarter (again) they hooked up. JDB continues to stare at his first option allowing for too many blocked passes (plus he's short).

We are reminded why PT had only four catches going into this game. He GAVE UP that interception, a PLAYA would have knocked that ball from the defender's hands.
Allen Bradford had no idea what was going on. Emmanuel Moody continues to cut TOWARDS! defenders wtf??

O-line did a fine job the one sack should have been a 'hands to the face' against wazzu.
D-line is in year number two of BARELY any (generous) pressure on QB and generally got pushed around by guys that were NOT high school all-americans.
defensive backs played well considering the time qb had to throw - plus the whole 'spread' thing.

Terrel Thomas was exposed a bit but the qb still needed to make nice throws to get them in there.
LBs continue to over-pursue and fail to get off blocks. Thank goodness they are stronger & faster than everybody they play. They are so damned excited to please PC with their speed, they overrun everything or get blocked waaaaaay out of position. Dallas Sartz should move to safety, he gets pushed everywhere.

Dude the punter was HUGE!!! sometime in the fourth quarter when he made that beautiful catch of the over-the-head snap and got off that punt!! that was sick.
Why was Brad (Reggie, why are you looking at me. You threw it away)Walker in the game?
okay, done venting.

Whew,

A Win is a Win is a Win....

I love the Trojans. I love our defense. The defense won this game. The defense is doing what they need to do, typical of a Pete Carroll defense. But I have to say if the offense doesn't show up more often, the defense may not be enough. You don't think the rest of the Pac 10 isn't watching and licking their chops. Kiffin and company need to find a way to score more points. Imagine how tough if it would be for opponents if they are down by 30 early in the game with the type of defense USC has.

This was the perfect opportunity for Patrick Turner to shine as a wide receiver and he choked. Not to mention that all year last year in practice Booty and Turner were getting very well acquainted with eachother. Where does that translate onto the playing field?

LAME Kiffin sucks!!!

I told you guys this one week ago....and you were quick to defend this overrated, spoiled punk. Ya'll were criticizing me!

I told you that we would be "inhibited" in our ability to score, not because we have players who are young and experienced, although admittedly this contributes somewhat, but because this fool is running our O.

Hmmm, let me see. Even Chris Rix, yes Chris Rix, that overrated college quarterback at FSU a couple years ago, who was on Rob Fukasakis post-game show said "The USC offense is young, and they should only get better. Unless play-calling becomes an issue."

Even a "bust" such as Chris Rix can recognize that Lame Kiffin is terrible!

THANK GOD MY FRIEND OR ANYONE I KNOW DID NOT PUT MONEY ON THIS GAME! LESSON LEARNED (from last week 20-3 measly win)!!! Never put cheddar on the team Kiffin coaches!

Everytime Redcorn posts something on this board he makes reference to someone losing money or not betting on USC because of Lane Kiffin. Get a life you idiot.

If you or any of your friends are stupid enough to bet on a college football team with a QB in his 4th start, rotating 3 frosh RBs, a 4th string FB and missing its #1 receiver on the road you deserve to lose everything you bet.

The problems on Saturday were on the defensive side of the ball. Get off Kiffin. He's not calling plays to help you cover the spread. He's calling the plays that will give a young injury-ridden offense a chance to win the game. He's not Chow but no one else is either.

Go back and watch the game where USC lost to Wazzu when Chow was still here then come back tell me how much money your friends lost that day. Idiot.
