Inside The Stadium
The Trojans arrived by police escort about 20 minutes ago and the stadium is slowly becoming a sea of red. Beat USC shirts are everywhere. The weather is just about perfect.
Arkansas just took the field to deafening applause from the student section, which looks like it will stand since about 2 hours before kickoff.
There's a large grassy knoll above the stadium where fans can watch the game for free.
Its gotten even louder as the Arkansas band takes the field. Former USC players Keyshawn Johnson, Craig Gibson and Mike Salmon are on the field.
The attendance is a stadium record 76,564.

To quote the initimitable Johnny Drama, "VICTORY!!!"
Does anyone have a comment about the broadcasting by ESPN? On the return when Arkansas threw the USC players to the ground, the sportscasters had virtually nothing to say about the condition of the USC players, nothing to say about the fact that, long after they had paid tribute to the "devastating defense" the Razorbacks had demonstrated, they expressed no concern over whether the USC players were seriously injured, AND while the Arkansas crowd continued to CHEER the potential injuries to the USC players, the broadcasters virtually joined in the fun. Meanwhile, on the breaks, we were forced to watch high school footage of Mustain and other Arkansas players from Springdale High, with NOTHING broadcast about the USC players' impressive histories.
While it is fair to state that these were Arkansas broadcasters, it is troubling that these folks could not present a more unbiased view in the face of potential injuries.
Poor sportsmanship all around there.
My God Arkansas fans, it looked like a Bowl game out there , I do believe the season just started. Save your energy for the conference , and perhaps you can re enact the whole hoopla , band and all.
ESPN sportcasters are the worst I have seen in ages........my god, they showed no concern about the injuries to the SC players on the kick return because they were so enamoured with Mustain and his future with the Hogs. Shame on ESPN for such horrible sports casting. Maybe ABC will do a better job next time..........
