Just In Case
Freshman Vidal Hazelton is getting a lot more work in practice this week. Not necessarily because he will play against Washington State but because if Patrick Turner gets injured, Hazelton will be the next guy up in the rotation and needs to be ready to play.
You also gotta figure that with Turner now in Jarrett's spot Hazelton will get a lot of reps as the slot receiver along with Travon. Are Holland, S. Johnson and Ausberry going to redshirt? At this point I would assume that that is the plan? Although it does seem like Johnson is getting more reps in every practice.
As much as I'd love to see what Vidal can do, I'm dying to see Travon again. He had that nice catch at Arkansas and just has the blazin speed to get by people, now I want to see if he can run routes and catch a booty bullet
We are all salivating at the propect of seeing Hazy & Patterson get out there & make some plays. Just another example of incredible depth this team has thanks to Godfather Carroll.
