Center Ryan Kalil suffered a concussion and did not practice but USC coach Pete Carroll and offensive line coach Pat Ruel said he would start and be OK.
He was rested Thursday. Nick Howell is the backup with Drew Radovich also an option.
Oscar Lua will suit up and be available for an emergency. Kevin Thomas is probably out.
Chauncey Washington will get extensive action along with Emmanuel Moody at tailback and C.J. Gable will probably start.
Kevin Ellison said he can start and Antwine Perez is the backup at strong safety.

OK Scott, who at USC isn't hurt? How about the Song Girls or Traveler. I bet all of them are hurt too!

What gives? Or is PC just giving out miss information?

FIGHT ON!

miguelito...seriously, what kind of hater are you?

Your team can't beat on the field and you're happy about this? Read the article again and take in the part about one of the sources actually in prison when he was interviewed by the Yahoo reporter.

Does that sound like legit reporting to you?

Must suck that your team is terrible and you have no other outlet for your anger.

Fight On!

I have a bad feeling about this Reggie Bush thing since last spring time when I read that the reporter, or whoever started this thing was at a deal with Vince Young when it originated. Reeks of some longHorn pushing this to dismiss Reggies Heisman and get it to Vince Young. May be nothing to it, but sure seems fishy to me.

Fight ON Trojans show it on the Field Saturday Night!!!!!!!

Is Pat Ruel in prison? Is Todd McNair in prison? These are the guys that knew what was going on with Bush, according to the papers. Ruel even said that USC was infested with agents, had them at practices, in the athletic offices, in Heritage Hall, etc. They were around the program constantly throughout 2005.

Miguelito, no need to be so bitter. Being a window washer is no disgrace. That puts you in the top 10% of U of Texas grads.

disregard miguelito's posts. he's a bruin who grows a new wart on his nose after every USC win. by now he looks like mr. potato head.

Miguelita of West Hollywood. Welcome back after your head's extended stay in your boyfriend's lap.

Ok, so Reggie and family took a lot of money. It was from an agent, not a booster. These things are very difficult for a school to police. It's enough to deal with a few overzealous donors, but these sharks, I mean, agents are like, as Tony Montana said, "cock-a-roaches." Whatever, I just hope for the best, that the school and the program come out relatively unscathed.

And Miguelita, we will have fun with the Huskers. At least they have real, hardcore fans, unlike the scum known as Bruin fans. I sort of hope Nebraska The Program comes back, but only after our impending victory over them. Fight On!!!

Miguelito !! your'e back !! mommy let you out to play again?? you are pathetic .......Reggie may have well screwed up his legacy as a Heisman winner and the History of USC Football and seriously damaged the University for decades .....he is a foolish and selfish young man and his fammily is also. They should have known better and didnt consider the ramifications of their stupidity. What part of any of this gives you your twisted joy ??? Hurt to any one or any University is never a good thing for anyone . Do you also sit at intersections to cheer on traffic accidents? Maybe funerals to laugh at family members?? you are sick , pathetic and shallow...dude take your marbles and go home now , no one wants to play with you anymore .

Sorry to bring the actual discussion of football into this but I'm pleased to see that Moody has moved up. I posted after the Arkansas game, asking if anyone else was as impressed with Moody as I was. There were no responses, but apparently someone was: PC. This kid looks terrific to me, smart enough to go upfield, strong yet explosive. Anxious to see if he is the real deal or if Arkansas was just a fluke.

There's nothing Pete can do about agents hanging around USC - other than what he did last year - sick Pat Ruel on them. It's not illegal for an agent to be on campus. The most Pete could do was educate his players and ban the agents from practices and Heritage Hall (I'm not even sure he can ban them from Heritage).
The NCAA needs to take a serious look at their rules. USC had it especially hard last year because of the sheer amount of talent they had on on team at the same time - it was unprecedented in this media internet age.

John E. I was equally impressed with Moody, I would like to see Stafon Johnson also he down to University of Georgia and USC, I would like to see what Georgia lost and the Trojans gained and some big time runs from the freshman. Go Trojans!!!

I live in the Northwest and Willingham really wanted Stafon as a Husky. He alluded to "if Stafon had come here he would be starting" which is probably just a recruiting dig. Yeah, I'd like to see him too and we will since a little attitude problem has been fixed. Many good backs.

Hey John E
I saw the same thing out of Moody as you did. I was also impressed and felt Moody is the real deal. He won't replace Reggie Bush but he will show the same strength and explosiveness that Reggie did for 3 years. Now all the Trojans need is to get a healthy Chauncey Washington and we may have some flashes of thunder and lightning for one season. FIGHT ON TROJANS! Lets take it to the upstart Huskers.

Oh yeah, Miguelito, every fan base needs a weakest link. Goodbye!
