From vice president of student affairs Michael Jackson on the student-ticket fiasco.

This is now the 8th post on the subject of where students sit, how many student tickets there are, etc.
Regardless of how one feels about the subject (and Scott, we get loud and clear where you are), this is simply not that interesting. Unless this blog is going to change its name to "Inside the USC Ticketing Process," how about finding a new topic?
Unlike others, I don't much care whether the news in this blog is positive of or negative. Please, just be interesting. This particular subject was only interesting for a couple posts. Feel free to spare us the minute-by-minute update and chase a different story. This one has run its course.
That sucks for graduate students who used to get the general admission tickets with the student acitivities card. What about them. They pay the same tuition!

as a last semester student who came back looking forward immensely to coliseum home games. then they drop the bomb about cutting tickets for students. then the fiasco at the nebraska game. i least they are admitting how stupid they were in going about the change and are correcting it. this will make the next home game more relaxed

Perhaps Wolf should suppress all news that doesn't interest you, GoTrojans, but you'll have to give him a heads up before he researches it so he knows not to waste his time. Or maybe you can exercise that little human entity called 'free will' and just gloss over the stories that you don't care to read? I think most others prefer the latter course. Most of us here in the States aren't too keen on having our own personal Minister of Information.

Scott, its a shame that no one at the front office had any idea that there could be the snafu that resulted from the initial ticket policy. The SC ticket office personnel plan like a government agency! Sorry it took getting Dr. S. into the issue to create an actual solution that will be equitable under the current situation.
Scott, I know you receive an incredible amount of flak for posting this topic and your overall "voice" about the Trojan team. Let me simply say as a consumer of your product, I am just thankful that someone is providing more information that the single obligatory daily submission that makes up the other newspapers. Although you do deal in rumors and outright opinions, I am thankful that you provide over a third of all the print subject matter in a given week that I am able to find on my beloved team. I know many do not agree with you or like your opinions, and I am one of them at times, at least I get so much more news to go through with your writings than the superficial transmission of the Times, Register, Breeze. When it comes to USC football, love them, hate them, but don't stop reporting/talking about them!!!!!

Thanks for all the information you give us. You far surpass any inside information that any other of the other number of local newspapers that cover USC provide.
