Mays Days

Freshman safety Taylor Mays said he feels comfortable enough after two starts that games are not his biggest worry.
``I feel like tomorrow’s practice will be harder than Saturday’s game,’’ Mays said.
Mays also said he likes playing the ``center field'' spot in the Trojans' secondary.
``I’m not feeling a lot of pressure but I know if I make a mistake it’s a touchdown,'' he said.

The big question is can he tackle? So far not so much as evidenced by the Arizona game. We dearly miss Pinkard. Mays' time will come but not this year.

This kid is a stud. I can't wait to see how good he can be. Crazy to think we have a lot of these kids on our defense back next year.

I've been impressed by Mays this season. Freshmen CBs are easy targets and this guy has stepped up bigtime!
