Powdrell Surgery

Fullback Ryan Powdrell underwent surgery this morning at USC University Hospital after breaking his fibula and dislocating his ankle against Nebraska. He will miss the rest of the season.
``It’s a significant recovery but he’ll come back full speed,'' USC coach Pete Carroll said.

God speed, Ryan.

Too bad, you are a big part of the offence. Get well..

meaning hes going to get that 6th year of eligibility?

I have not gotten over that bastard UN LB pulling him harder after he was already down. i hope he gets his. Everytime he takled someone, he rolled and twisted, even after the guy was down- what a bastard.

Ryan buddy, you made SC strong. you instilled fear in our opponents eyes with your sheer size & power. you will be back and you will dominate.

Bummer, he meant so much to that offense and I do think losing him is part of the reason that the O was slow to gel Sat evening. anyone know how this affects his eligibility for next year

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
