Quick Game

Arizona's 44 plays were the fewest against USC since Pittsburgh had 34 in 1974, a 16-7 Trojans' victory. That's one reason the lackluster game lasted just three hours, 10 minutes, which is shorter than all but one game last season (USC vs. Washington, 3:06).

Wow! And consider how fast it would have been if not for three video reviews which felt like they ate up 5 minutes each.

By the way...In case no one knows...The clock rule sucks.

PS: I think PC will do cartwheels when we win a video review. Scott? Just for kicks, when is the last time we have won a review. Off the bat, the reviews I can think of are the three we lost Saturday, the system "not working" against Texas, and Reggie "clearly" being out of bounds on a catch against UCLA. I can't remember winning one.

You may wish to do an article re: TV timeouts. I travelled to Tucson for the game and the delays were unbearable! Not just the review delays.

It would be neat to see a comparison between the time savings of the new clock rule and if there has been an increase in TV timeouts/commercials. It seems like we are getting less game and more advertising.
