From USC offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin: ``I didn’t think I was good tonight.''

You guys miss me yet?

Note to Kiffin: You are NEVER any good!

Bring back Chow! Word has it that he wants to return to the college ranks, any truth to this? Maybe only as a head coach? Looks like there should be an opening down in Coral Gables...LMAO...Coker is sure to be gone after today's debacle.

Kiffin sucks...and thats the plain truth. Last year this was masked from clear view because of Leinart, Bush, White, etc.

Well guess what? That weak 4th and 2 call 8 1/2 months ago still runs in my mind every week. And those stupid fade passes to Jarrett in the endzone that never worked still angers me as well from last season.

Hey Scott, can you personally tell Kiffin that he play calls worse than JV football coaches in the Southland? Santa Ana Mater Dei's OC is better than Kiffin! (the JV and Varsity ones!)

Yeah Lane, I agree. Whatever happened to the vertical passing game? Use your assets: best receivers in the nation and a good 4th year quarterback.

You seem to be a "tough love" kind of guy. Time for self-immolation? Tennessee Titans lost to the lowly Jets last week. Can Norm Chow's return be far off?

Lane, time to get a life!

yah, Kiffen completely forgot everything he did last year, especially how to throw the ball down the field. Give me a break. You guys are jokes.

Assuming that D. Jarrett is gone after this year and S.Smith is done why not get P. Turner and V.Hazleton some needed experience the next three weeks against Arizona and the Washingtons? Booty has the arm to get the ball anywhere they can run.

I agree with John Redcorn. All the talent SC had on offense last year blinded the playcalling. What I want to know is where was the SC alum when Norm Chow accepted his offer from the Tennessee Titans?

N. Chow is not coming back!! What is wrong with you all? I would rather have young OC like Sarkiffin with experience in the existing USC system than try to bring in an older OC with his own way of doing things and someone who would likely be bringing his own system with him. Do you think we could get another OC in here to run the system Pete has in place without making changes? If so who - give some names. USC has the ongoing NCAA record for consecutive 20+ pt games - what more do you want? The fans have truly been spoilt by Pete and his staff. We've lost 2 games in 4 seasons and all some fans do is complain - oh and btw we lost both those games because of breakdowns on defense (Kiffin and Sark had little to do with either of those losses, and if I remember correctly Norm was actually the OC for one of those losses in which we looked very pedestrian on O against Cal).
The offense is not as smooth as when Norm was here but what did you expect? N.Chow is undoubtedly one of the greatest offensive minds in college football history. The fact is he no longer wants to be an OC at the college level and who could blame him he's been a college OC for 15+ years. He's not coming back and though I too have my issues with Kiffin at least I realize that they are the best replacements for Chow - they understand the system and the personnel needed to run the system. How many other teams can replace 3 Heisman trophy winners in 4 seasons and stay at the top of the college football world? Stop whining.

..he needs to be fired or "given" a NFL job ..get him out of here he SUCKS

the players dont like him no one likes him

FIRE HIM HE SUCKS

Clearly, the Kiffin kid is talking too much. He needs to shut up and win a few national titles without Sarkisian and Carroll filtering his play calls, before he uses the letter "I" again.

Some truly bizarre happenings in the past couple of days. First, Kiffin finds himself drawn into a pattern of play-calling set by an opposing coach whose goal is to not lose by too much. Then, as he did with his all-American wide-out, Kiffin felt the need to call HIMSELF out for his performance during a game. Bizarre...

To all you Chowdowners: You are right...if Normie was still here...Booty would have have thrown a accurate pass to Smith down the middle.

There were 3 long vertical passes in which DJ and SS were behind the DB's of Nebraska. Booty overthrew each time. No big deal, I'm sure he'll get better at those. Is he as good as Chow. Nope. But I can't think of anyone who was or is.

However, it is pretty cool that 5 years ago we just wanted to win enough to get to a bowl game and beat ND, now we complain when we soundly beat Nebraska 28-10. My, my, how things have changed. :)

Thanks Pete!

Fight On.

By the way it was Steve Smith fault that the ball was over thrown. If you were at the game and paying attention, he hesitated in the middle of the pattern, took it for granted that the ball was going to be there. If he went full speed the whole time the ball would have been there.
