You have to pay for those?

it's a shame to shell out this much money only to see your team get punched in the mouth for 4 quarters...

Warren Buffett must be planning to attend.

That is a ridiculous amount of money to spend. At the same time I have to compliment the Nebraska fans. They are probably the most committed to their team as any school in the country. Those fans travel better than any other school. And they know their football. Most of all they represent Nebraska well. I have only been to two games where Nebraska was playing but both times I was impressed. Still, $25K is insane and they will get beat.

THIS IS NO RUMOR!
I was just watching the 5pm news on NBC and the sports news showcased a Nebraska Cornhusker Cornerback (I forget the name) making some brash comments that the Huskers are going to beat the Trojans. Typical trashtalking, but what was upsetting was his other comment that USC's tradition is not as big as the University of Nebraska's tradition!
Does this guy know anything about college football? USC has 11 national championships (tied with Notre Dame) to Nebraska's 5. USC has 7 Heisman Trophy winners (1 less than Notre Dame) to Nebraska's 3. USC has 30 Rose Bowl appearances and 21 of those are victories in the GRANDDADDY of BOWL GAMES! The two things that Nebraska has over USC is 11 more conference titles and overall winning percentage.
GEE WHO HAS MORE TRADITION?
Only one team has more tradition than USC and that team is Notre Dame! To all Nebraska hopeful, you are not in USC's league!
FIGHT ON TROJANS!

TO: Felipe
Senor, I checked heisman.com:
1943,47, 49, 53, 56, 64( John Huarte-Matter Dei) and 87-ND winners, seven
1944, 50, 55, 74, 75, and 95-Ohio State winners, six
1965(Mike Garrett, AD), 68 (OJS), 79, 81, 2002, 04(Matt Leinart, Matter Dei), 05-USC winners, seven
Question:
For the trivia and stats freaks:
Is Matter Dei the ONLY USA HS with TWO Heisman Trphy winners?
Thanks

Thnx

To el capitan: dont know the answer about Mater Dei being the only school with 2 Heismans BUT I do know that the CIF SS Serra league is the only one with 3 Heismans (Carson-St Margarita HS, Matt-Mater Dei HS, and John Huarte, Mater Dei HS )Also, I think California has put out the most winners over all: ie: Mike Garrett, OJ, Charles White,Marcus Allen, Ricky Williams (from San Diego area??)Jim Plunkett, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, John Huarte, Reggie Bush. did I miss anyone ??

Felipe, love your enthusiasm, but a slight correction. The Crying Irish are tied with SC for Heisman Trophies at seven. Notre Dame's last Stiff-Arm was Tim Brown in '88, while SC caught up in a flourish under Pete Carroll. As a Raider fan (what a crappy team and front office), Timmy's the only Irish alum I've ever loved - a great Raider. Go Trojans!!!

TO Trojan National:
With ALL due respect, please check heisman.com:
Tim Brown won the Heisman in 1987.
Thanks
