You forgot a line in the stats to reflect how many autographs each player signs. Thanks to Scott's seemingly constant updates in this subject, we can only assume Booty leads Leinart in this area as well.
Booty's stats are great in comparison to Leinart's debut, but I'd venture to say that perhaps the talent around him is better and/or more mature than the team we took to Auburn in 2003. Actually, this is true for Booty more than anyone else, since he's been around and in the system during the height of the last three years. Seemed like the fans at Arkansas weren't quite as intense, either. One thing that continues to worry me a bit are the batted ball at the line.
If you compare Booty's stats to Ben Olson's (Olson went 25-34 3 TD's, 316 yards), they are pretty darn similiar. I think the Battle of LA might be interesting this year.

JD Booty could be better than his predecessor. While, so far, the offense seems to lack "explosion" the strong, steady performance should be better and more consistent in the long run. Booty seems to have more weapons than Leinart did at the beginning, all of whom should develop into stars. Booty showed poise, and plenty of smarts. Has earned the team's respect, as well as ours. The team should do nothing but get getter. As for the offense, in my opinion, we are already at least equal to any other in the country. Meanwhile, as for defense, the Pinkard loss could prove more costly than any losses on offense. PC states: Defense wins championships, as we saw in the Rose Bowl. Probably should have taken Pinkard off the punt team. . . This should prove a challenge to the potential replacements at safety, and a good chance to get playing time for those freshmen. Go for it guys!
