oregon should be higher
how can OSU be behind WVU?
miami...why
Thanks Scott. Your top 25 is always good for a laugh.
Ya good picks again scotty. West virginia beats a top notch east carolina team by 17 and you still vote them number 1. Ohio state has proven they are number 1 so far this year, but west virginia has proven nothing to nobody. It is weird how the usc beat writer still can never give our team any respect. Seriously when you went to sc back in the days were you picked on by the football players? Just trying to figure things out.
There has got to be more abusive reader feedback on your ballot posts than anything else you write. I don't know whether to admire you or continue to criticize for your whacky votes.
Did you even watch the West Virginia vs East Carolina game? Atrocious. Georgia and Notre Dame were handed gifts as well
Interesting picks...your daughter close her eyes and point for you?
West Virgina looked so Good against an awful East carolina Team. Yeah that was sarcastic.
haha, wow, funny picks! West Virginia at #1 has got to be the funniest part though. Do you know what you're voting for? You're supposed to vote for the best college football teams in the nation in order of talent, not who you think will have the best record because they play no one.
Outright laughable - Miami and at 18 no less; Texas A&M the ones that squeaked by army at home and have not played anyone in the top 100 or so it seems
Arguably Laughable; Florida State at 16 ahead of Clemson at 20 who beat FSU in their barn and has an identical record, make this one outright laughable
Plain Stupid; WVU getting by a pathetic ECU team and you have them one ahead of OSU
USC: looks like you are being nice to them this week after the AZ game
Yea it's funny how you guys wanna say how "WV was good against a Great ECU team" But you forget to mention how dominate SC was against a POWERHOUSE PROGRAM LIKE ARIZONA!!! Ahahahahaha.
J, Last year Arizona ran for something like 500 yards against fUCLA...same backfield rushed for minus 16 yards against SC Saturday night. Yeah, I'd say they were dominated.
SCOREBOARD ! And way to come from ahead to lose to that jugernaut Washington.
Scott, do you even watch these teams play or do you just rank them based on how well you wish they were doing?
It's writers like yourelf who contribute to the AP Poll's lack of credibility. Please write about something else and let someone with a brain do your job.
Do you realize that out of 128 voters combined(AP & Coaches Poll), you are one of only two people that have West Virginia as #1. Seriously, Scott. Stop ranking teams based on who you think will have the best record at the end of the season. Rank them based on who the best and most deserving team is now. Shouldn't WV be punished for scheduling non-conference games against weak teams such as Marshall (home), E. Washington (home), Maryland (home) & E. Carolina?
This is brilliant. West Virginia is not even a top 15 team. They have zero talent. Haven't stopped laughing.
You're dumb. I know you're busy covering SC, but set the Tivo and watch other games around the country. To rank West Virginia ahead of Ohio State, Auburn, USC, LSU, Florida, and Michigan is just plain stupid.
Do I have to do everything?
1) Ohio St.
2) USC
3) Auburn
4) Michigan
5) LSU
6) Louisville
7) Oregon
8) Virginia Tech
9) West Virginia
10)Florida
11)Georgia
12)Iowa
13)TCU
14)Oklahoma
15)Notre Dame
16)Texas
17)Tennessee
18)Clemson
19)California
20)Florida St.
21)Missouri
22)Nebraska
23)Texas Tech
24)Boston College
25)Bosie State
There you have it! Now everyone can disagree with this one.
This poll has to be just to get fans riled up lol...
I'm picking Louisville to actually beat West Virginia. Im not sure why the Cardinals are so low.
YOU"RE KILLING ME SMALLS!
Being from WV, I just wanted to tell you "Great Ballot"......but yeah, I am still surprised after a weak win againts ECU.....you need to wait for Slaton to get back in Heisman form before you do that.
What happens when WV plays Louisville's 2nd stringers? WV still loses. Bush or no Bush the Mountaineers are going to be wishing they still had PacMan Jones to protect against the pass and Bulger to actually pass the ball further than 10 yards.
Hey OCSurf, have you watched a WVU game this year....i am guessing no since you haven't seen their WR's Darius Reynaud and Brandon Myles....both of whom are averaging over 10 yards a catch....and as for PacMan and the defense....from what I hear, WVU beleives they can outscore anyone in the country, so they dont worry about the D that much (and the D is fast and strong, so with experience they will get better)
