Balanced Offense
USC coach Pete Carroll noted tonight after practice that the Trojans ran the ball 215 times and passed 212 in the first six games.
``That's pretty good balance, I think,'' Carroll said. ``How about that?''
Naturally, we couldn't resist a joke, but I'm sure many of you will fill in your own punchlines.

6-0! Keep it going Pete!! FO
no takers?
Hopefully we go with a bit more run this weekend at least until we can see that the passing game will be more than a pass to the flat or one that goes five yards across the middle on 3rd and 9
love the balance... has lead to 51 of 53. I only wish I could find some in any of your work Scott.
It's not just how many times you run it. It's when and what run plays that really make a difference.
Fight On Pete! I just hope Sarkiffin improve their playcalling. And while we are at it, Nick Holt has got to call better defensive plays. Reading the paper about the d-line, it sounds like they are getting frustrated too. It seems like there are not as many cornerback blitzes, linebacker blitzes, or safety blitzes as there were in the past. Maybe the SC defense does miss the Ting brothers.
Did someone say Ting?
