Did You Know?
USC coach Pete Carroll had a cameo role in the 1973 Disney movie, ''The World's Greatest Athlete.'' Jan-Michael Vincent starred in the movie about a Tarzan-type athlete discovered by a coach played by Tim Conway . . . well, you get the idea.
Carroll, who played football at Pacific at the time, returns an interception 100 yards for a touchdown.
''I bet you guys didn't know that,'' Carroll said this week.

Pete should have been cast in The Godfather Pt. 4, we love the man... the former great Ram legend Merlin Olsen (great name) also started his acting career with Disney.
Can anyone name all the star players that make a cameo in the Nike commercial, where Dion's "kid" catches a RB pass?... I saw everybody from Leinert, Curt Warner, B. Urlacher, even Lee Corso. Not so fast my friend!

Hey David. My man Polamalu was in it. The commercial made it seem like they would kill the other team (with Urlacher just demolishing a ballcarrier). But it's completely implausible that that awesome team would have to rally in the last minute on a Hail Mary pass to win. I know it's a commercial, but you can't make it seem like the team is that awesome, then cut to the final minute of the game and they're losing, and expect us to believe that. As Han Solo said on their trip to Alderaan, "It's all just a bunch of simple tricks and nonsense."
Who will you, my fellow Trojan fans, root for this Sat. in South Bend? I hate both teams, but I guess I want the Leprechauns to beat the Teddy Bears. Though I'm not hoping for it, I wouldn't mind seeing a few injuries. Heal up, Trojans!

You have to cheer against Notre Dame after what happened to Desmond Reed there last year! Next time we play there we need to schedule the game after ND plays Navy so that the Navy Goat can eat that grass down to a lower level.

what we want is a total melee fight, a la Miami-Florida International, and lots of hurt guys and the entire starting lineup suspended....:))

If you want them to be injured just invite ray ray to one of their partys

I go for the Bruins. I lost all my respect for ND, and the fat man, last year when the I saw the grass on the field.

UCLA! The BCS is like "Texas-hold-em". Two loss Bruins could knock Irish from table.

Shame on you Trojan National, even though I suspect the injury remark was in jest. It is going to be like watching one's wife and mistress doing oral on each other, but you should want the Bruin to upset Pudgy Weis's "Farting I-wish" on Saturday. Pac-10 and all that.

As Pete Arbogast said " I hope they both lose". If I had to pick I'd take the Weises over the LA Public School because I actually respect their podunk Indianer program.

somebody should YouTube that one.
Gotta go ND. I hate to say it, but I want to crush ND's parade again. If we lose to ND and UCLA beats them... oh god... ugh. It's not like this Bruin team who lost to their only decent opponents is going to help us in polls or BCS.
