Hallelujah. I was incredibly impressed with him, for the three carries (if that) that we had him for, and I think he has to be an improvement over Brittingham and Adewale regardless.
Maybe the fullback will give our offense the kick-start it needs, like the ABC commentators suggested?
All I know is we need him for the stretch run, if we have to wait till Stanford to get him back in game shape so be it. What a boost to the offense this would be.
GREAT NEWS BUT IF HAVILI IS NOT 100%, I WD PREFER FOR HIM TO WAIT TILL THE BIG 4 COME UP....DJ WENT BACK INTO ACTION TOO SOON AND SO DID CHAUNCEY--THE TEAM HAS HAD OVER 17 INJURIES AND HAVE STILL WON.... I THINK THIS IS THE FINEST COACHING THAT PETE HAS YET DONE AT USC-------WATCH THE IMPROVEMENT IN THE RUN GAME WHEN HAVILI COMES BACK??
Sweet - we need a good FB. Does anyone remember how Kirtman (& other FBs) saved our bacon a couple times on 3rd down during the last 3 years, even with Leinart/Bush/White? This + getting all the WRs healthy at the same time again could help us get our mojo back on offense, big time....
