Injury Report
Wide receiver Steve Smith sprained his left ankle. X-rays were negative and he appeared fine afterward. Safety Taylor Mays suffered a shoulder stinger and linebacker Oscar Lua bruised his leg, neither injury was considered serious.
More curious is why wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett (sprained shoulder) played. He could not continue after halftim and said he was too sore to continue.
``It affected me,'' Jarrett said. ``I'm hoping it's better next week.''
``I don't know what Dwayne's situation will be,'' Pete Carroll said. ``Maybe he can play, maybe he can't.''

Why risk DJ? In the first half there was never a threat that SC needed him

I'm waiting for the day "eftzoons" writes something intelligent, or even civilized, or provide a tad proof he at least graduated from grade school, because right now my 5 yr old talks like that - howbeit, from him it is acceptable. Unless, eftzoons is also a 5 yr old. If that is the case, I apologize little fella'. Go ahead and get hooked on phonics.
I think it is real important we rest DJ, until he fully recovers. We will really need him when we play the big 3 - Cal, Oregon & ND. Forget the post season accolades big fella', we need you healthy for the big games.
