USC coach Pete Carroll on another close game:
```We’re a different team now,’’ Carroll said.
Carroll also restated last week’s statement that close victories feel like Groundhog Day.
``If Groundhog Day feels like winning, I’ll take it,’’ he said.
Groundhog Day brings me back to 2001 when things were starting to take shape and every play was trying to get the players used to a new system. These kids and upperclassmen know the system. I realize injuries hurt the team (where is the fullback?). If the team can not pass the football consistently, RUN THE FOOTBALL!!! It seems to me that #23 is more than ready, willing, and able to do the job. Bruce in Anaheim Hills...bring back the P somewhere on am or fm radio!!!
Pete Carroll the MASTERMIND is already outhinking his opponents before he plays them. By having the appearance that his team sucks and is overrated at 8-0 (we're going to beat OSU and Stanford), Cal and Oregon are going to come in overzealous and cocky thinking WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO BEAT SC!
Thats when SC shows up and puts the beatdown on these upstarts!
