USC finally blitzed more against Arizona State but it's not always as easy as it looks.

That play would be the one where Rudy Carpenter took off for 40 some odd yards. Mays ran around the outside where Rey was already coming instead of staying in his gap and taking the middle and Carpenter went right up the middle for a long gain.
Do we really have no other option than to use a true freshman at free safety? He's in his 5th game as a starter and he's still asking Kevin Ellison where he should be lined up and what he's supposed to be doing before every play.
