We hear a local paper has spent several months working on a story trying to demonstrate quarterback Mark Sanchez received preferential treatment from USC during his legal troubles last spring compared to other football players.
USC's denied the charge. You might recall Sanchez was suspended from team workouts last summer until his legal situation was cleared up.

Good, I hope the truth comes out. It is shocking he was not punished when there clearly was evidence that he engaged in various illegal activities. For goodness sake, there was actual videotape of his using a fake ID and entering the 9-0, while also leaving the establishment extremely drunk. That's not even touching upon the case of sexual assault, which is always very hard to prove if the female is in the accuser's bedroom voluntarily.
Hopefully, this article will bring the truth out about Sanchez.
I would rather lose with class than win with thugs. Of course, Sanchez hasn't actually contributed to any wins and I hope he never gets the opportunity.

Mark Sanchez was a victim of racism. The girl and her family called 911 because they thought he was some criminal based on his last name. He should sue them back.

As per the harrassment, well the police investigated and there were not charges filed...so...they were wrong? I think they know better than we do about those kinds of things..they are they experts.

Underage drinking in college?! I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. This is a scandal that will rock America's financial institutions to their core. The only survivors of the fall out will be the Lousiana "schools" with their 18 drinking age. No one will be safe from the bright light of this investigation. All college students found to have consumed alcohol at any time before the age of 21 will be forthwith expelled on the spot. "Becky, you consumed half an ounce of champagne at your cousin's wedding last weekend, please pack up your dorm room and leave accordingly." Athletic teams will essentially have to be completely disbanded. You think the chess team at Oberlin hasn't had a rum and punch or two while doing a group clean of their collective Captain Picard action figures? Forget about it. They're gone too.

There is a major difference between being a 19 year old college student using a fake ID and getting drunk, with one who is actually given a scholarship to represent a university. When it comes to being given a scholarship, a student has to agree to abide by certain codes of conduct or else the scholarship is not renewed. That is the case at USC for academic scholarships, as well as for athletic scholarships.
In the case of "How do you know he was extremely drunk"? Well, there is actually footage of that.
For the rest of you who think that the police "know better than we do about those kinds of things..they are they experts" -- you're right, the LAPD has such an immaculate record or conducting investigations. Finding over 100 ecstacy pills in someone's bedroom, yet doing nothing about it was clearly a sign of their expertise. What about vandalising private property and not filling a report? How about female students who get raped, but since there was no one else in the room, no charges are pressed, and the female student ends up leaving the university? The list goes on and on.
By the way, the source doing the investigation is NOT Yahoo. It is a newspaper, not electronic media.

Uh oh...the USC haters are on the board..time for me to move on. They will drag out the details of Mark Sanchez' hang nail and talk about how he should of been in prison and they have all the evidence. And that was just like the time 3 years ago when Justin Fargas sneezed and his germs killed 5 people and he should of been arrested and charged with murder and they have all the video of that.

Everything these guys have done (underage drinking, having ectasy) is done by 75% of young people in the USA. They were given the same punishment other people are given. And per your guys charge that he assaulted her, you weren't there so there is no way for you to know what happened. Whatever you type is BS.

I am glad we have fans like Patrick. He proves that USC has many fans who not only never attended USC, but clearly never even finished high school. Since 75% of young people in the USA use ecstacy (clearly 100% accurate if Patrick says so!), then it's alright!

SummerN....I guess Patrick was just speaking of young people at USC. That is where the kid played football who had all the pills. That is where the drunken students "assaulted" women, trying to get into a game, a few weeks ago. I'm sure they were all 21. That is where the "women were using the men's restroom". That is the school whose student section boo's their own quarterback, and blames their own coaches for a 60 and 10 record. Not to mention the graduate-football beat writer that constantly slams his own program. We sure don't want those people who "never attended USC" to speak for us. Patrick, if you sue your school district, use that UCLA attorney that represents the Trojan players. F On!
