Monday Afternoon Report
Steve Smith and Dwayne Jarrett practiced healthy together for the first time in several weeks and Pete Carroll said quarterback John David Booty's confidence shot up noticeably.
Kyle Williams, Thomas Williams and Oscar Lua all practiced and will play against Oregon State. Tailback Chauncey Washington missed practice to take a midterm but said he is doing fine academically and his grades are not an issue.
I have NOT looked at other teams rosters NOR the NCAA regulations. The question is WHY the same number is allowed to be worn by two players?

Same numbers can be worn by different players on opposite sides of the ball. i.e a safety and WR can wear the same number. Why? Because they aren't on the field at the same time so there really shouldn't be any confusion.
Except for maybe on punt returns/kickoffs in which case confuse away.
