Washington picks up a safety very early in the game, and it begins to look like it may be enough to win it all as the two defenses battle it out.
In the last second of the game, USC kicks a field goal to win it. The sold out crowd at the Coliseum charges the field and takes down the goal posts... making ESPN highlights.
Trojans 31, Huskies 10 This has USC near their season average and I think the defense will step it up this week and hold WU below what the Trojans have been giving up (which is not much) per game.
For "Real Trojan Hoya" I have work during the day. I don't have time to look at this blog and care about who is taking my name. Gosh get over it and get a real life.
USC 52
Washington 13
Trojans have heard the wake up call (including the coaching staff) and will return to form by thrashing an overrated Washington team.
I see my doppelganger is back again. Very interesting. It's sort of like having a secret admirer...in a sick and pathetic way. Drop your email address on this site if you want...we can discuss things outside this forum.
the huskies looked like a more superior team at an away game vs. arizona than usc did at a home game against them. if usc doesn't step it up to where they should be playing this will be a good game. usc may have more physical talent, but the huskies are getting scrappy. if usc plays like they have so far this season i'm pickin huskies 24-20. if usc plays up to their actual talent level then they 'should' kill the huskies, but they haven't so far. we'll see. ...and the huskies are healthier.
SC is mortal, as evidenced this year - but no one has been able to beat us yet.
SC 31 - W 17
Not a convincing win, but a game that convinces us that SC needs 2-3 more games to gel on both sides of the ball. October will be the final preparation month before we steamroll in November. Fight On!
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
