Time for a "Hail Mary?"

Looks like Swannie will be unable to take many staunchly Democratic votes out of heavily liberal Philadelphia. Plus, is his race keeping GOP voters away in rural PA? Overall with the national DEM trend it may be a tough year for many REP's to break through.

Good.

Great. Another Democrat Spendocrat who wants to give terrorists a Bill of Rights and their own lawyer like Martha Stewart.
Rendell ain't gonna stop immigration, he sees them as future voters. He'll raise taxes again, and he'll even tax gasoline while at the same time vote against drilling in Alaska, where there is more oil than what we now get from Venezuela and that mental midget Chavez, a walking pinata-head that makes Bush look like Einstein.
Oh, and Rendell is against the death penalty, even for terrorists that kill children. He believes that we should pay for their meals for life in prison.
That's why I was right when I said years ago that if Schwarznegger followed a middle-path Republican line, that he'd get re-elected. And now he's way ahead in the polls. If Swann does the same and runs again in the future then he'd have a good political career ahead of him.
Don't believe what you read in the Grey Davis-loving L.A. Times -- they want Nancy Pelosi & her S.F. pals as head of Congress... I'd rather have Pete Carroll...

Lynn picked the wrong year to run as a Republican. Any other year, he would have had a chance.

Sorry Lynn, but even as a fellow Trojan, if you are republican, I'm glad you are loosing

Not every Rep is a money-grubbing, closeted gay, jailbait chaser. And neither is every Dem a bleeding heart, skirt chasing, tax-raising liberal. The populist moderates on either side (who can work both sides of the aisle for a cause they believe in,) are the ones who get respect and therefore traction. I hope Swanny is one of them, but I don't know yet.
C'mon people - wake up, do your homework and don't blindly follow one party vs. another. This is the 21st centruy, for crying out loud...
