Practice Recap
Dwayne Jarrett is considered fit to play and practiced Monday. Dallas Sartz neded to see a doctor Monday because he bruised his knee. Steve Smith's ankle remains sore but he is expected to play.
USC coach Pete Carroll said Allen Bradford is not moving to fullback, but he's trying him at different spots in the backfield.
"We're trying to experiment," Carroll said. "We're trying to find some ways for him to help us."
Bradford said, "it's not a position switch."

When the team sucks you try everything and anything. Team sucks this year.

Pete should just regulate and tell Bradford to know his role. For "real trojan hoya" there is nothing to discuss get over it.

you can say that again

Hey garyboy, who's Gary? Your secret is safe here, lol.
Don't hate on eftzoons for telling the truth. I agree with him.
Hard to accept that we suck, huh?

Way to go Pete...using the Jedi mind trick on poor Allen!
Pete: "You are not a fullback."
Allen: "I am not a fullback."
Pete: "Go line up at fullback."
Allen: "Ok."

We are 5-0 right? We beat Arkansas 50-14, the same team who dismantled Auburnright? Its funny how an undefeated team is known as sucking! Sounds like more bandwagon fans who are upset about some close games now that they have been fans for 4 years! A win is a win, and the BCS don't care as long as you win.

What is up with Stafon Johnson? Is he just sucking in practice, or what? I would like to see him get a few touches in a game myself, I thought he was supposed to be the best out of all of these guys coming in and the only play that I have seen him in on was the offensive pass interference call in the WSU game and the commentators even stated that the play was not against Stafon? Whats UP???

Allen: "Hello, Rocky.........hey man, how are things down at UNLV?

FZoons..your just wrong.
everyone else...your just spoiled rotten because of our brief tremendous recent past.
We have replaced a phenominal juggernaut, we are so athletically talented yet inexperienced is all. JDB is playing behind an inexperienced and patchworked line. The receivers have been in and out of the practice lineup since training camp. Hell Jarrett hardly participated then. The RBs are all trying to learn on the go...and doing it without the FB dominance that our running game is based on.
The D is primarily linebackers! The D line is overrated and patchwork also because of injury. Guys like Schwaiger, Moore have however underachieved. Ellis is the only DL that's dominating..the rest just need more playing time and experience. LoJack is doubled on every play and Cushing, a linebacker is not the hulking DE that we need for added pressure. and then there is the injured player factor. Not the primary excuse but a valid one.
I'm pretty proud of what's being accomplished currently. You must realize that this is not a team of massive and total dominance as the previous 3 have been. It sure does have future possibilities though.
When posters like Zoon say we suck, they are just rediculous! The only area where I honestly do agree about us sucking however is the OCs play selection.

I have to admit they coaches are really confusing me this year. What are they doing now with Bradford? He already said he wants to play safety. What about S. Johnson? They are burning a year of eligibility so he can sit on the bench and hold a clipboard. He will transfer next year. People like S. Johnson aren't going to want to spend 3 years sitting on the bench. Why do they keep putting T. Patterson in for 1 play and taking him out?
They play it safe on offense. Kiffin: "JDB can't do all the things Leinart could do yet so we haven't used all the playbook" They play it safe on defense. Holt: "I don't want people like Mays who don't have much experience getting burned for a TD pass" so they sit in a soft, keep it in front of you zone. HEY, it's not the first game of the year anymore these guys can play. OK?
PC and co. obviously decided before the year started they are going to play vanilla and conservative the whole time and aren't going to change their minds. It's just too bad they are going to continue to drop behind Florida, West Virginia, Michigan.....

This team is right where a lot of people predicted they would be before the start of the season. We all got a little ahead of ourselves after the Arkansas game. Reality is this is a very young team, which has suffered a lot of injuries. This team was never going to the BCS Championship game anyway. A 10 win season will still be a good accomplishment - anything more will be a bonus.

John Redcorn and eftzoons are hilarious. One logs on just to say USC sucks - the other could care less about W's and is obsessed with the point spread for this each game. I'll let you decide which is funnier...or sadder.

Well, maybe nothing to discuss with me, but perhaps with your psychiatrist. You take over my screenname, post with it, and then think that's normal behavior? That just points to some serious issues you've got, bud. What a tool.

We desperately need an athletic fullback even if it's just a true freshman. I think Carroll is gladhanding the situation with Bradford a bit so as not to scare off future recruits (flipping a star recruit around to FB) and not upset AB. But in the end this NEEDS to get done. Bradford needs to step up for the team and help us even if it's not his idea of an ideal position. I'm sure he won't complain about wearing a ring at the end of the season but it may take some earning.

Clint is right, you flaky fans are pathetic! It's ridiculous to see so many of you bandwagon fans who believe 13-0 seasons are the norm.
