Scott,
I understand you are voting west virginia number one.
would you be wiling to come on to my pregame show this saturday to explain why.
e-mail me back at miller@wews.com for details.
I would love to hear an explanation as to how you vote west virginia as the top team in the country. I respect your opinion, but can't begin to fathom how you think west virginia could compete with Ohio State or Michigan.. particularly Ohio State.
because Scott isn't a Buckeyes homer...
email me back at gobigblue@michigan.edu
respect? Respect?
You don't respect his opinion if you're using such loaded language as "can't fathom how you think west virgina could compete with Ohio State or Michigan"
Don't lie. Just come out here and tell him you think he's an idiot. It's clear you do.
Meanwhile, why do you think Michigan, particularly, could compete with WVU?
I've seen enough Michigan now to be pretty sure they lose to the 'Eers by 10 points.
Yes, really.
OSU, I'm not so confident. Personally, I have OSU #1, but I'm tired of the single-note song Big Blue's been playing. I think they're third best, and that it isn't even close.
Scott, if Louisville beats W Va Thursday 11/2 will Louisville get your No.#1 vote?
Each week he lists his AP ballot, but never explains his rationale. Just do it. I guess we'll get at least a better look at WVU this Thursday, but it's real hard to see how they could be ranked ahead of Ohio State. In terms of the one loss teams, I'm not sure why you give a pass to Texas, Auburn, and Notre Dame. All three didn't just lose, they got blown out. Maybe you would say that Ohio State and Michigan are just so superior to everyone else, that getting blown out isn't a huge strike against them, but you don't have Ohio State or Michigan as #1 and #2. Apparently Auburn gets a pass for being dominated by Arkansas because why? And, when they do win, Texas, Auburn, and Notre Dame struggle mightily. Tennessee, Boise State, USC, and Arkansas are all too low on your rankings. Whoops, I guess Arkansas shouldn't be ranked so high--they got blown out too.
It's kind of weird being a fan of the "clear cut" number 1 team. I'm usually studying the number 1 and trying to make a case for why OSU could compete with them. I really would be interested for your breakdown of how WV would stack up against the Buckeyes. Thanks for your time if you do this.
Well, West Virginia lost to Louisville... following Scott Wolf Logic, that should make West Virginia #2 and Louisville stuck at #7. Boise State should be the new number one, right?
There is a reason that you were one of only two AP voters in the nation that thought West Virginia was the #1 team... way to go Scotty.
well based on some Trojan fans' logic...USC should have beaten Oregon State too.....
