Three-Way Tie
If the Pac-10 finished in a three-way tie, the league champion is decided by the BCS rankings, not the old points system. A three-way tie would happen only if Oregon defeats USC and USC defeats Cal, and Oregon, Cal, and USC suffer no other conference losses.
Where the three schools would be in the BCS Rankings is purely speculative; Oregon might have the advantage of the earliest loss and might also have the advantage of Cal’s loss to Tennessee, and there would also be the possibility of a potential USC loss to Notre Dame outside the Pac-10 race in November.

I loved your work on Party of Five. So, if West Virginia and Ohio State played each other on a neutral field who would win?

If Ga > Fla; Fla > TN (done); TN > GA (done) then the same situation happens
whats your point

"a 3-way tie would only happen (between Cal, Oregon and USC)"
geeez, what a shot. what about the bruins?
they have only ONE loss (same as Cal. same as the Ducks.) and they still play all three of these above mentioned teams.
why you just blow them off, man?
UCLA has the conference's #1 defense.

Andrew:
Did you/ANYBODY watch WVU surviving against ECU? ECU maybe, maybe has at the most THREE (three) star players on their roster. BTW I live in the ECU area, I know what I'm talking about. For the record I am a USC fan. The point is that WVU has a cup cake schedule, over rated and pampered by the East Coast media. The second point is WVU would be lucky to get ten points against Ohio State if for some miracle they play. The third point is WVU polled higher than Texas which is another insult to college football sport fans. Texas will rake WVU. Mark this on your calendar 2 Nov 06 WVU plays Louisville. Needless to mention I'll be rooting for L'ville ALL the WAY! Like they say here in the south WVU will find out fat meat is greasy!

Hi,
Some say you're a USC hater. I've argued for you that you're simply trying to remain objective. But I looked at your AP ballot and dude, seriously, what are you thinking? LSU is ranked higher than Auburn? Auburn is ranked higher than Arkansas? Do you even pay attention to who wins the games? West Virginia is #1? SC is 5? C'mon man, explain your logic. His ballot can be seen at:

UCLA has the #1 defense because they have played nobody. They are much improved over last year, but they will be hard pressed to keep that ranking for the entire season.
UCLA will lose 5 of its next 7 games. You heard it here first. I wonder if UCLA regrets the Bob Toledo decision yet.

The AP ballot I referred to is Scott Wolf's ballot, USC beat writer for the daily news, and sponsor of this forum.

Scott Wolf's AP ballot is senseless and nauseating...
