What Happens in Vegas, Doesn't Stay In Vegas
It turns out the last time USC's offense scored just one touchdown was the 2001 Las Vegas Bowl. But that team had a converted fullback (Sunny Byrd) at tailback. Too bad Pete Carroll hadn't learned the player pretending to come off the field fake field goal or the Trojans might have scored twice against Utah.

Unfair comparison. USC's OL couldn't protect Palmer and Byrd couldn't get yards. That team was limited by OL which was turned around next year when Coach Davis arrived.
USC offense moved the ball and won the game with time consuming drives. If finished better the score would not have been so close. This game again the issue was the defense, esoecially on 3rd down plays. That is a sign of lack of confidence and leadership.
By the way Scotty, how many touchdowns did you ever score?
so what is your ap poll going to look like now scottie? is usc even goin to be in the top ten any more?
If we can't improve, and some argue we've gotten progressively worse since Arkansas, we will be beaten by both California and Oregon. Both have great running backs, something Washington does not have. Oregon also has the closest thing to Vince Young in college football. We are a young team, but seem to be lacking leadership. And the offensive play calling appears to be inconsistent with the abilities of our players. Did we run anywhere but off tackle before the end of the third quarter? It didn't seem like it and I'd like to see Moody get some running opportunities to the wide side.
Congratulations Scott, Steve Bisheff of the OC Register published a column today stating that USC didn't deserve to be #2. Guess that will redirect some of the anti Wolf stuff over at Steve.
By the way, you're #6 ranking of the Trojans is looking better each week but still don't understand why you have the Mountaineers ahead of the Buckeyes.
What's interesting is I've read articles from columnists when they've decided that satire and sarcasm are traits best incorporated in they're work. I have never though read a beat reporter using sarcasm. Obviously a blog allows you to add more of what you wouldn't be able to get away with in your regular column, but seriously, was there something the program did to you. I understand animosity towards Matt or Regie if they didn't talk to you or were cold, but what has coach Carroll done to you. The last sentence in your post is a cheap shot. Write what you can defend, but try to do less offending.
