Carroll On The BCS
USC coach Pete Carroll on the Trojans' No. 3-ranking in the BCS standings.
``Am I surprised? No,’’ Carroll said. ``It’s hard to win all your games. A lot of people assumed teams would not lose another game. But it doesn’t mean anything right now. It doesn’t add any emotion or any excitement to our games.
``We’ll see what happens. These are fun games. We’ve been through everything now. We had to lose one to figure it out.’’

College Football may actually have a playoff this year.
For one spot in BCS OSU-Michigan square off this Sat.
If USC beats Cal this Saturday then most likely ND vs USC is for other spot. USC is in the spot, its to control, but thus ND most likely could get there by beating USC. So if Bears go down, we have back to back playoffs the next two weeks for BCS final.
Bye Oregon! For the first time in weeks USC played like a contender. Now that they are, once again, a contender; Cal and Notre Dame don't look so tough. Tough, but not that tough. If the confidence and improvement continue.....Wow! Imagine!
I know what would add more emotion and excitement to the games. Regular use of hard counts and implementation of more tight end pass plays.
How does ND ever get past Michigan?
How do you do?
Here's the difference between Pete Carroll and Paul "Buddy" Hackett: Pete says "it's hard to win all your football games," while doofus Hackett once said "it's really hard to win a football game."
Of course their USC coaching records also speak to these differences!
FIGHT ON!
